Who is Petunia?
Petunia is not a rescue.
She was lovingly chosen to become the very first ambassador of Petunia’s Sanctuary.
Not because she’s rare. Not because she’s trendy.
But because sometimes… one gentle face can open millions of hearts.
Once those hearts are open… we can begin a much bigger conversation.
A letter from Erika
“Compassion should never depend on the species.”
I don’t remember a time when animals weren’t part of my heart.
When I was seven years old… I began rescuing stray dogs and cats.
I wasn’t thinking about changing the world. I simply couldn’t understand why something capable of feeling love could be abandoned.
As the years passed… I never stopped. Only the animals changed.
Today my mission continues. Only now… it includes farm animals.
Because compassion should never depend on the species. Or how cute an animal looks.
Every life deserves respect. Every life deserves dignity. Every life deserves the chance to simply… exist.
Petunia’s Sanctuary was born from that belief.
